Hotel Sor - Phnom Penh

The location of the hotel is its best feature. My room was spacious with a comfortable sitting area and a tv. I appreciated the free wifi and tea and coffee facilities provided in the room. The breakfast was excellent, with a large selection of fruits, Asian dishes, and hot options like pancakes and eggs. The carved furniture in the main reception area added a unique touch to the aesthetics of the hotel. There were some issues. The mini-bar charge for a bottle I didn't use was confusing, as I didn't even know where it was located. The shower had plumbing problems, as water flooded the bathroom floor. It's unfortunate because the massage service was excellent, but such maintenance issues detracted from my stay.

The superior twin room was good sized with clean bed sheet. The location was particularly good and best possible close to city centre and the atmosphere was elegant!

Enjoyed my 2 nights stay. They gave me double room with clean bed sheet. The most important was the staff - great and helpful people. The hotel was in a great location really close to restaurants and shops and city centre.

Enjoyed a convenient location with spacious rooms and a good breakfast variety. Staff were friendly 🤗!

old facility not very clean

It is walking distance to central mall. A 15-minute walk will take you to hong kong restaurant, where you can eat. You should definitely explore Prampir Makara district, it's worth it.

great service , but a few hiccups

All the staff members were friendly throughout my stay. My room offered a bright and spacious environment, perfect for relaxation. The breakfast was good, especially the freshly made omelette with vibrant vegetables and the yogurt served with passion fruit and honey that invigorated my mornings. Along with that, the city view from my room added an extra charm to my stay.

The noise from the busy street was occasionally noticeable during peak hours.

I faced significant issues with the initial room I was assigned. The key card light switch malfunctioned, and I noticed standing water in the wetroom bathroom due to poor drainage. The presence of mold on the tiles was quite unpleasant, leading me to request a room change, though the subsequent room was satisfactory albeit the bed was notably hard.

The location of Sor is its standout feature, surrounded by many good restaurants. My room was a reasonable size, great for a comfortable work environment. I found the hotel facilities, including the dining area, to be of high standard, and the breakfast buffet catered to various tastes.
